Mardan: SP Investigation Mardan Maria Mustafa (PSP) has said welfare and social organizations have an important role in addressing social challenges, supporting public welfare and contributing to community development.
She made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation of the Hamdard Mehrban Organization Mardan at her office, where the organization presented an ultrasound machine and other essential equipment. The equipment was subsequently provided to a talented female radiologist from Mardan to help her pursue dignified employment and become self-reliant.
Focus on Sustainable Welfare
During the meeting, representatives of Hamdard Mehrban Organization briefed Maria Mustafa on the organization’s objectives and ongoing welfare initiatives. They said the organization seeks to go beyond temporary financial assistance by creating opportunities in education, healthcare, skills development and employment.
Maria Mustafa appreciated the organization’s welfare activities and praised Chairman Siyar Ahmad Hamdard’s focus on promoting self-reliance.
She said providing people with the resources and opportunities needed to use their skills and abilities is a more sustainable approach to welfare than relying solely on short-term financial assistance.
The SP Investigation Mardan emphasized that initiatives supporting different sections of society, particularly those providing women with dignified employment and opportunities for economic independence, should be encouraged.
She expressed hope that Hamdard Mehrban Organization would continue expanding its welfare initiatives and contributing to public service.
Organization Representatives Attend Meeting
General Secretary Sami Khan, Maulana Sadiq Shah, Malik Fawad Hussain Awan, Maulana Faisal Nawaz, Shehryar, Tahseenullah, Tariq Shah, Masood Shah Haqqani and other office-bearers and members of the organization attended the meeting.
The organization’s Legal Adviser, Malik Fawad Hussain Awan, also presented Maria Mustafa with a portrait of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
At the end of the meeting, the delegation thanked SP Investigation Maria Mustafa. Participants reaffirmed their commitment to expanding welfare initiatives and promoting sustainable self-reliance through education, healthcare, skills and employment opportunities.
