Islamabad: Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited and Hyundai Nishat Motors have signed a strategic agreement for the supply of Shell Lubricants for Hyundai vehicles in Pakistan, strengthening aftersales support and product alignment with manufacturer specifications.

The agreement was formalised at a signing ceremony held in Lahore, which also marked the launch of Shell Helix HX8 0W-20 AH, a lubricant developed in line with Hyundai’s engine requirements. The product has been designed to support engine protection, improved fuel efficiency, and consistent performance under local driving conditions.

The ceremony was attended by senior leadership from both companies, including Zubair Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer of Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, and Hasan Mansha, Chief Executive Officer of Hyundai Nishat Motors.

Shell Helix HX8 0W-20 AH is the second co-branded lubricant introduced under the Hyundai–Shell collaboration in Pakistan, expanding the range of jointly developed products for Hyundai vehicles. According to officials, the lubricant has been engineered to meet Hyundai’s technical standards while addressing local operating environments.

Under the agreement, Wafi Energy Pakistan will supply Shell lubricants that comply with Hyundai’s specifications, ensuring customers have access to OEM-approved products through authorized channels. The partnership is aimed at enhancing aftersales services and maintaining vehicle performance and reliability.

Representatives from both companies said the collaboration reflects a shared focus on quality, technical excellence, and long-term customer value. Hyundai vehicle owners, they added, will benefit from reliable access to authentic lubricants that meet manufacturer standards.
