KARACHI: Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited held a free eye camp for its retail partners in Karachi in collaboration with Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust, offering eye screening and basic treatment to support eye health among the retailer community.
The initiative, part of the company’s ongoing community outreach, aimed to improve access to preventive healthcare for retailers operating across the city and to identify cases requiring further medical attention.
A team of ophthalmologists and support staff from LRBT conducted comprehensive eye examinations at the camp and provided free medicines for common eye conditions. Retailers needing advanced care were referred to nearby LRBT hospitals for follow-up treatment.
Zubair Shaikh, chief executive officer of Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, said the company’s social initiatives focus on supporting communities where it operates while aligning with long-term business sustainability.
Wafi Energy Pakistan said it continues to partner with established healthcare organizations to deliver targeted community services, with programmes designed around local needs and operational presence.
