Islamabad — The Virtual University of Pakistan has announced the commencement of Spring 2026 admissions, effective January 5, with the last date to apply set for February 20. Admissions are open across Pakistan, including Azad Jammu & Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, as well as for overseas Pakistanis.
Thousands of overseas Pakistanis are currently enrolled at the university, pursuing higher education while contributing to the country from abroad. Rector Prof. Dr. Nasir Mehmood said the Virtual University provides quality higher education at affordable cost, leveraging modern technology to make education accessible to all segments of society. He noted that campuses are present in nearly 140 cities, from Skardu to Gwadar, ensuring academic and administrative support nationwide.
The admission process is fully online, allowing applicants to complete all formalities from home. Students seeking guidance may visit the nearest Virtual University campus, where facilitation is available free of cost.
With more than 160,000 active students, the university said Spring 2026 admissions offer valuable opportunities for job holders, professionals, and individuals unable to attend conventional classes due to time or location constraints.
