Upper Dir: The District Youth Office will continue organising training programmes in every tehsil of Dir Upper to equip young people with essential communication and professional skills, officials said at the conclusion of a week-long workshop.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Sher Ali Khan, addressing participants, said the district administration is focused on improving students’ communication abilities, confidence and capacity to present ideas effectively in academic, professional and social settings.

The training programme was organised by the District Youth Office in collaboration with the district administration and aimed to strengthen practical skills among students.

Participants received guidance on public speaking, presentation techniques, teamwork and professional networking through interactive sessions and practical exercises. Trainer Zubair Ahmad shared insights on effective communication strategies and offered hands-on tips based on professional experience.

District Youth Officer Shahzad Tariq said similar programmes would be held in all tehsils of Dir Upper to ensure broader youth participation and skill development.

An interactive question-and-answer session was held during the closing ceremony, with students actively engaging in discussions. More than 70 participants were awarded certificates, while shields and commemorative gifts were presented to the chief guest and organisers.

Officials said such initiatives are aimed at preparing youth for future educational and career opportunities through structured skill-building activities.
