UPPER DIR: The residents of Upper Dir demanded the provincial food department, district administration and the District Food Officer Upper Dir to reshift Food Controller’s office from PanahKot to near Dir Bazar.T he Traders and locals said that the current location of food office in Panahkot area is not suited and far away from the access of people, They added. A resident of Brawal Muhsin Khan said they are coming from 27 killometers away to solve food related issues but now the food office too much from Dir city. he told this correspondent when anyone can go to food office, they will must be hiring special taxi to register complaints related to food items or resolve issues with food licenses. Muhsin said this is not only time-consuming but also will pay additional expense.
The traders of not only Dir Bazar including different Market and Bazars are facing problems due one year ago shifted the office from Dir Bazar to farplung area Panakot.
The residents are demanded the concerned authorities to consider the difficulties faced by the public and traders and relocate the office to a more accessible area near Dir Bazar which is accessible for the masses.
They said food office scince year is out of the reach of the general public.
