UPPER DIR: Funeral prayers for Pakistan Army soldier Mehran Khan, who martyred while performing military duties in Siachen Glacier, were held at Dir Stadium.

Deputy Commissioner Upper Dir Naveed Akbar, District Police Officer (DPO) Zafar Ahmed, Colonel Kamran Dir Scouts, and other high-ranking civil and military officials, along with a large number of people, attended the funeral prayers.
A contingent of Pakistan Army paid tribute to the martyr. After the funeral prayers, he was buried with full military honors.
Deputy Commissioner Naveed Akbar, DPO Zafar Ahmed, and Colonel Kamran Dir Scouts visited the grave of martyr Mehran Khan in Tehsil Dir, laid a floral wreath, offered Fateha, and prayed for the deceased. They also expressed condolences with the bere.
Shaheed Mehran Khan was laid to rest with full state honors at Kabal Baba Graveyard in Rehankot Pyeen, Dir city .
