The Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Team of the Pakistan Army’s Corps of Engineers has commenced operations in various areas of Buner, Shangla, and Swat.
The Urban Search and Rescue team, equipped with specialized tools, is assisting in locating injured persons and retrieving bodies trapped under debris.
In addition, Corps of Engineers personnel are engaged in reopening blocked roads and repairing damaged bridges.
Rescue operations by the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (North) are ongoing in different parts of Buner, Shangla, and Swat.
Additional contingents of the Pakistan Army reached various affected locations last night and have taken charge of relief efforts.
Despite adverse weather conditions, Pakistan Army helicopters remain actively engaged in rescue missions.
