SWAT: University of Swat, in collaboration with the National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE) of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), launched a four-week training program for faculty members under the National Outreach Program for Higher Education Faculty (Tier-I for Lecturers/Assistant Professors).
The inaugural event, held on Monday, was attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. Sulaiman Ahmad, Director, NAHE, Mr. Muhammad Saleem Qamar, Deputy Director, NAHE, Mr. Nasir Shah, Director, Regional HEC Peshawar, and Mr. Zeeahan Khattak, Resource Person for the training.
Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Hassan Sher, expressed gratitude to Ms. Noor Amna Malik, Managing Director, NAHE, for awarding the project to the University of Swat. He emphasized the importance of faculty development in enhancing the quality of higher education.
Professor Hazrat Bilal, Training Coordinator, welcomed the guests and appreciated the encouragement and support from HEC.
The four-week training program aims to enhance teaching and learning skills, foster research and academic excellence, promote faculty development and mentorship, and strengthen institutional capacity building.
