SWAT: The University of Swat had the honor of hosting the HEC Inter-University Table Tennis (Men) Championship for the 2024-25 session, marking a significant event in the university’s sports calendar. A total of eight teams from Zone-C gathered to compete, demonstrating high levels of skill and sportsmanship. The tournament structure included both singles and doubles categories, providing a comprehensive platform for the players to showcase their talents.
Throughout the event, 20 intense matches were held, with each team displaying remarkable dedication and resilience. The doubles final saw the University of Malakand emerge victorious over Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM) in a closely contested match, while in the singles final, AWKUM turned the tables, defeating the University of Swat to claim the championship title. The event highlighted the spirit of camaraderie and competition among the universities, contributing to the overall success and excitement of the championship.
