SWAT: University of Swat Department of Law and Shariah, in collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), organized a two-day certificate course on International Humanitarian Law for students.
The inaugural ceremony’s chief guest was Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Hassan Sher. Dr. Lutfullah, Chairman of the Department of Law, arranged the seminar.
The concluding ceremony featured distinguished guests, including Dr. Ziaullah Rehmani, Advisor, ICRC, Muhammad Imran, Legal Advisor, ICRC, and Advocate Faisal, General Secretary, Peshawar High Court Mingora Bench Bar Association, Dean Professor Dr Najeeb and Controller of Examination Dr Arshad Ali Khan. Qazi Ubaidullah served as the focal person for the event, and Amjad Hilal look after the over all arrangments and guests.
This certificate course aimed to enhance students’ understanding of international humanitarian law principles and their application in real-world scenarios.
