These stories are also connected to our society. Four poor sisters jumped into deep water while attempting collective suicide. Three of them drowned. These suicides were a protest against the poverty due to which these four sisters were not getting married and no relationship was coming to their doorstep due to the poverty of this family. Whenever you pick up the morning newspaper and read it, half of the newspaper is filled with news of suicides and the other half is filled with the achievements of the government.
On the screens of the capitalist TV channels, the journalists who are taking care of everything are seen talking about the good and the newspapers are black with the struggle of the political parties who want to take away the government. You only know half the truth every day. We are living in a society and a country where life is frozen and countless things are done every day to maintain this freeze or this system permanently.
But here, half the truth is always told because the nation This much truth can only be digested. Our freedom has given birth to a civilization here that knows the art of accumulating wealth without any effort and buys up the entire market with the power of its capital.
The basic idea of this new civilization is that no matter how far you have to go to get wealth, whatever course you have to take, adopt it with great honesty. No matter how many slogans the sloganeers in this country shout, who can stop their language and power here? The art of showing green gardens and growing mustard on hands is a profitable profession in our country, but the truth, even if it is half, is very bitter and efforts are being made to hide it.
If you like to hear the truth, then today’s bitter reality is that livelihood and bread are rapidly disappearing from the hands of the common people of Pakistan. Hunger has destroyed not only the society but also the social values. Now the spirit of mercy and compassion has disappeared from the society of Pakistan, while indifference has completely taken hold of this nation. If a poor family in the neighborhood goes hungry, If a person is dying, a well-off neighbor will not give even a single loaf of bread to the dying person, and now a callous person will not even let him think that helping his neighbor is the basic duty of a human being.
Some time ago, the international media ran a special documentary about Pakistan in which it was said that Pakistani TV channels and newspapers broadcast and publish horrific news every day. Sometimes, prominent news related to terrorism comes to the public and sometimes incidents of religious sectarian conflicts are brought to the public, but the basic problems of Pakistan are deliberately kept hidden.
Unemployment and poverty are spreading rapidly in the country and this is the reason for domestic fights or bloodshed and violence against women and children. The sources of income here are shrinking and the existing sources of income are being controlled by a certain group with the help of the state and politics. The two major parties of Pakistan looting the country’s assets and having unlimited bank balances in foreign financial institutions is a living example of this.
There are only slogans for the poor people or the way out for them is suicide.
In the city of living hearts, a helpless mother committed suicide by throwing poison at her children after seeing them starving for days. What else can a mother do but waste her life on her children? The abandoned, hungry children clung to the body of the suicidal mother, crying and pleading with her, “O mother, sit up and come back to life. We solemnly promise you that we will die of hunger, but we will never ask you for bread again.”
There is another face of our society. There was a memorable wedding in Multan among the people of the ruling party. There were thousands of people there, countless meals were cooked, and the law enforcers themselves made the law a reality, and the law enforcement administration was also involved in this good deed. The bride brought a dowry of more than fifty million rupees to this wedding. The groom’s hair was made of gold nuggets instead of flowers, and the groom came sitting on a cage with a lion inside, which is also the election symbol of his party.
From the day the nation developed the desire to ride a lion, the nation has been in a state of chaos since that day, becoming the mount of this beast, and the lion is riding the nation and receiving a bride along with a dowry.
In fact, the truth is that the new wealthy civilization that has grown up in Pakistan, the ignorant spectacles of the same civilization, at the hands of a mafia, have made the society so sick and miserable that the grooms of the country are always looking for brides who bring a dowry of five crores and the young daughters of the poor wait until their hands turn yellow and finally, disappointed, they sleep hugging the deep waters.
And this is the cruel “civilization” that offers thousands of civilized guests all kinds of food but runs the society on such a basis that the forced hungry children keep clinging to the corpse of their mother and promising that “Mother, if you don’t get angry with us, then listen to us once, we will not be stubborn and ask you for bread again.”
When business and government become just business, when the principle is established that the poor criminal will be punished, and the chief sinner will be made the ruler, then such class justice then creates such an ignorant civilization that also rules and the wealth of the state is also at its disposal. But the ruler of rulers keeps turning time upside down. Those with very strong chairs reach their end. The mummified body of Pharaoh is still a lesson on the planet today. It does not take long to change the times.
