In an era where teams often surpass 300 runs in One-Day Internationals, a batter has single-handedly rewritten history by scoring an unbeaten 346-run innings.
The pace of One-Day cricket has significantly increased since the advent of T20, with teams regularly posting 300+ scores in 50-over matches. While numerous batters have achieved double centuries, no batter had ever scored an unbeaten triple century—until now.
This historic feat was accomplished in a domestic match in India. Representing the Mumbai Under-19 Women’s team, 14-year-old batter Ira Jadhav smashed an unbeaten 346 runs against Meghalaya in Alwar.
Ira’s extraordinary innings came off 157 balls, with an incredible strike rate of 220.38. Her knock included 42 fours and 16 sixes, making it one of the most remarkable performances in cricket history.
Notably, the record for the highest individual score in Women’s Under-19 cricket still belongs to South Africa’s Ezel Lee, who scored 427 runs in 2010 while representing Mpumalanga against Kai Club.
