Two PIA employees fired for mobile phone smuggling

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has dismissed two crew members, Mohammed Mumtaz and Asifa Naaz, after conducting an internal investigation that confirmed their involvement in smuggling mobile phones. The employees were found guilty of illegally carrying mobile phones during the Toronto-Lahore flight. After a comprehensive investigation where the accused failed to give a satisfactory explanation, the PIA management exercised its disciplinary power as per the prescribed regulations.
