Tourists, seeking respite from the heat, have flocked to Murree to celebrate Eid, bringing joy and excitement to the city. The city’s parks, hotels, and surrounding areas are packed with tourists, and hotel owners are taking advantage of the rush by charging exorbitant rates. The city traffic police are working to keep traffic flowing smoothly, while Punjab Police, Civil Defense, and Tourism Squad personnel are stationed on Mall Road and other key intersections to assist tourists.
According to details, a large number of tourists have arrived in Murree for Eid al-Adha, bringing much-needed life to the city’s economy. Parks and hotels are filled with tourists, and hotel owners are taking advantage of the demand by charging high rates for rooms.The city traffic police are working to manage traffic, while Punjab Police, Civil Defense, Rescue 1122, and Tourism Squad personnel are deployed on key roads and intersections to assist tourists.
Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer, DPO Murree, Asif Amin Awan, and Assistant Commissioner, Mughith Ahmad Hashmi, are actively reviewing arrangements to provide facilities to tourists and ensuring that personnel on duty are performing their duties effectively. On this occasion, DPO Murree and Deputy Commissioner Murree stated that all possible facilities and security will be provided to tourists visiting Murree.”
