Locals protest over road safety

Following the accident, local residents blocked the Kalam-Mahodand Road by placing barriers and staged a protest against the construction company and the local administration.

The protesters alleged that adequate safety measures had not been installed along the road following its construction, contributing to frequent accidents in the area.

They demanded action against those responsible and called for the immediate installation of protective barriers and other safety measures along dangerous sections of the road.

The demonstration was later called off after the administration assured the protesters that their concerns would be addressed.

Authorities are expected to review the road safety arrangements in the area following the incident.
