Timergara: A surgical team at Badshah Medical Center has successfully removed a two-kilogram ovarian tumor from a five-month-old baby girl in a complex and high-risk pediatric procedure, hospital officials confirmed.
Such cases are considered rare in infants of this age, requiring specialised pediatric surgical expertise and advanced medical facilities.
The surgery was performed under the supervision of Dr. Majid Arshad, a pediatric surgeon, along with his medical team. According to hospital officials, the procedure involved significant risk due to the patient’s young age and the size of the tumor, but was completed successfully after careful planning and execution.
