Under the Good Governance Public Agenda Program initiated by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mr. Ali Amin Khan Gandapur, the district administration has taken steps concerning healthcare, treatment, and medical education. A meeting on Timergara Medical College was chaired by Deputy Commissioner Lower Dir, Mr. Muhammad Arif Khan. The Principal of Timergara Medical College, Professor Dr. Samiullah, provided a briefing on the college’s progress.Efforts are underway to ensure admissions in Timergara Medical College this year. Plans are being considered for specialization (two-year programs) in orthopedics and other medical fields, as well as various options for professional doctors. The college’s beautification and installation of informational boards will also be completed.There is a need for planting high-quality evergreen trees at the medical college. The Deputy Commissioner assured that the Divisional Forest Officer would be assigned a special task in this regard. Assistant Professor Orthopedics, Dr. Waqar Alam, and Dr. Liaqat were also present at the meeting.
