Timergara: At the renowned Musarrat Shaukat Medical Complex in Timergara, gynecologist Dr. Musarrat Ali successfully performed surgery to remove a 20-kilogram tumor from the abdomen of a woman from Bajaur district. The woman’s condition is stable, and her uterus has been completely preserved.
Regarding the matter, the hospital administrator, Akhtar Ali Shah, shared that on Monday morning, a 28-year-old woman from Bajaur was brought to the hospital by her family due to severe pain. After an examination, senior gynecologist Dr. Musarrat Ali performed the surgery and successfully removed the 20-kilogram tumor.
According to the administrator, not only was the tumor successfully removed, but the uterus was also safeguarded from any damage. Akhtar Ali Shah further stated that the 28-year-old patient’s surgery was performed free of cost under the Sehat Insaf Card program. The patient’s condition is now stable, and she is expected to be discharged from the hospital in two to three days.
