Timergara Beef and Tikka House Inaugurated in Lower Dir

LOWER DIR: Timergara’s growing commercial activity received another boost with the formal inauguration of Timergara Beef and Tikka House at Rest House Chowk, Sadat Hotel.

Speaking at the inauguration, President of the Anjuman Tajran Timergara Bazar Haji Anwaruddin said halal business was not only a means of earning a livelihood but could also be considered a form of worship when conducted honestly and according to Islamic principles.

He said Timergara’s strategic location made it an important business hub in Lower Dir, while the hotel and hospitality sector had significant potential for generating income and employment. He stressed the importance of maintaining hygiene and providing quality services in the sector.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by former provincial finance minister Muzaffar Syed Advocate, former JUI candidate for the provincial assembly Maulana Muhammad Nabi Shah, Jamaat-e-Islami leader Al-Haaj Amir Azam Khan, former PTI provincial candidate Malik Inam Khan and JUI leader Maulana Shams-ul-Arifeen.

Local political and religious leaders, elders and traders also participated in the event.

The management said the establishment would offer a range of food options, including beef pulao and tikka, while providing clean and comfortable accommodation facilities.

The hotel owner said the objective was not limited to generating profits but also included providing decent employment opportunities to unemployed and deserving people in the area.

Addressing the gathering, the speakers welcomed the launch of new food and hospitality services in Timergara and emphasised the need to promote businesses that provide quality services, maintain cleanliness and create employment opportunities for local residents.
