Three people died and one was seriously injured in a horrific collision between a car and a passenger bus at Gogdara area of Swat district. Police Officials confirmed.
According to Fazal Rahim SHO Rahimabad Police Station, the incident took place when a car going to Mingora from Buner bus collided with a passenger bus going from Mingora to Peshawar.
As a result, three people in the car, Altaf-ur-Rehman son of Badshah Gul, Yasir son of Amir Abdullah and Fida Muhammad, residents of Dewana Baba, Buner district, died, while one person, Khalil Zada son of Wakeel Said, resident of Gagra Buner, was sustained injured.
The deceased and the injured have been shifted to the Saidu Teaching Hospital.
As soon as the incident was reported, the police reached the spot.
According to CCTV footage, the speeding car hit the girl crossing the road and lost control and collided with a pickup truck coming from the opposite direction, resulting in a tragic incident.
The police have registered a preliminary report and taken the bus driver into custody and have started further investigation.
