Swat: Three people, including a woman, were killed in separate firing incidents in different areas of Swat District, police officials said on Tuesday.
The first incident occurred in the Kabalyan area of Rahimabad police station on the outskirts of Mingora, where a man allegedly shot and killed his second wife.
Police identified the suspect as Yousaf Khan, who allegedly opened fire on his 46-year-old wife, a resident of Peshawar, killing her on the spot. The body was shifted to Saidu Sharif Hospital for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered under sections 302 and 109 against Yousaf Khan and his brother Hanif Khan on the complaint of the deceased woman’s son, Abdul Kabir Syed. Police said efforts are underway to arrest the suspects.
Nephew killed after argument
In another incident in the Mam Dherai area of Kabal Tehsil, a man allegedly shot and killed his nephew following a minor dispute.

Police said the suspect, Pervez, son of Pirmadar, opened fire on his nephew Adalat Khan, son of Shah Bakht, leaving him critically injured. The victim was rushed to hospital but died from his injuries.
Kanju Police registered a case and arrested the suspect along with the weapon used in the crime. Further investigation is ongoing.
Brother killed in Charbagh
In a third incident in the Charbagh area of Swat, a man allegedly shot and killed his brother over a domestic dispute.
Police identified the deceased as Wahid Ali Khan, son of Ali Khan, a resident of Guli Bagh. According to officials, he had traveled to Charbagh to participate in preaching activities with Tablighi Jamaat.
The suspect, identified as Shahid Ali Khan, allegedly opened fire on his brother, who later died from his injuries. Police shifted the body to hospital for legal procedures and launched a search operation to arrest the accused.
Authorities said investigations are underway in all three incidents.
