Three people, including a woman, were killed after a vehicle went out of control and plunged into a ravine in the Mingora Shaldra area of Swat following an apparent brake failure, Rescue 1122 officials said.
According to a Rescue 1122 spokesperson, the vehicle was carrying 10 people, including women and children, when the accident occurred.
Rescue teams reached the scene and provided first aid to the injured. Four critically injured passengers were transported by Rescue 1122 ambulances to Central Hospital Saidu Sharif for treatment.
Three children were also shifted to a hospital in Mingora in a private vehicle, according to the rescue service.
Authorities are expected to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident as investigations continue.
