Thousands of people gathered on the streets of Abbottabad after Friday’s rallies demanding the hanging of the killer. Thousands of people held a protest rally from Central Jama Masjid to Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Friday. Maulana Sarfraz Farooqui, former District Nazim Sardar Sher Bahadur, Colonel Retired Sardar Shabbir, Former Tehsil Nazim Ishaq Zakaria Advocate, Jamaat-e-Islami Kasab Jaban Ambassador Asad Khan Jadon of the National Front, Sultan Al-Arifin Khan of PTI Hazara Province, PTI officials and leaders of political and religious parties, officials, activists, NGOs District Khatib Mufti Hamid-ur-Rehman Qureshi addressing a protest rally outside Deputy Commissioner’s Office said that Iqra’s murder is a great tragedy of society.

Deputy Commissioner Abbottabad Captain Sanaullah also presented a declaration on three points in which the accused should be punished immediately. The bill to hang the accused in public places should be passed and terrorism sections should be included against the accused. The police will present all the evidence of the case in court and give the accused a logical execution.
