A scholar told the story of a student who became a teacher in a school like his teacher. After his appointment, he went to meet his old teacher and told him that because of you, I have also become a teacher like you. I asked the teacher how? Then he told me that:

“One day I stole my classmate’s watch. You had closed the doors and asked for a search. I thought I was trapped today.

Then you said that everyone should close their eyes. You searched all the children. Their eyes were closed. You took the watch out of my pocket and searched the ones after me as well.”

I learnt a great lesson about self-respect and life through this method of yours.

When the teacher said that he hasn’t remembered him, the student asked,

‘Respected teacher, how did you forget me?’

The teacher replied:

‘Because I had also closed my eyes during search pockets of students.’

Every person in the society including teachers need to take care of the self-respect of others so that they remember you later.
