Take a look at the toy attached to the cup in the image above and tell me if you feel something special about it?
You’ll be surprised to learn that this is no ordinary toy but a robot designed to tackle a very common problem in our daily lives.
Created by the Japanese company Yukai Engineering, this robot is actually designed to cool down your hot tea, coffee, or food. Yes, you read that right, and it works just like a human. Just as you blow air on your hot tea or food to cool it down, this robot does the same.
This unique robot, named Nékojita FuFu, was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. It has a small fan inside that blows cool air to help lower the temperature.
The robot can easily sit on any surface, like a tea cup or food container. According to the company, this robot saves people from the effort of cooling down their food or beverages and helps avoid saliva from being transferred into your drink or food while cooling it.
The device can lower the temperature of a cup that’s 88 degrees Celsius to 66 degrees Celsius in just 3 to 5 minutes. The average person can only reduce the temperature by 3 degrees Celsius in the same time.
The best part is the price—just $25. However, it’s not available for sale just yet. The company plans to release it for sale by the end of 2025.
