Following Pakistan’s defeat in the first ODI match against Australia, opener Ahmad Shehzad launched a scathing critique of the Pakistani team. In a tweet on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “The same old story! I can’t believe Pakistan should not have lost from here; we might not get this opportunity in the series again. In the end, poor planning cost us dearly.”
Earlier, Australia gained a 1-0 lead in the series by defeating Pakistan by two wickets in the first ODI. The second match is scheduled for November 8. In the first ODI played yesterday in Melbourne, the Pakistani team batted first and was all out for just 203 runs in 46.4 overs. In response, the Australian team also faced challenges but managed to chase down the target, losing eight wickets in the process.
