Nature blessed plenty of resources in the form of coal. oil, gas, copper, minerals, gemstones, gold reserves and table salts to our home land, Pakistan. But current situation in the country is presenting a bewildering paradox i.e., “one that is rich in resources, yet poor in tolerance”. But the dichotomy situation in the country is very aggravated. Now it is the time being a Pakistani nation, the collective efforts must be initiated in developing the effective resource management systems to boost up the economy of the country and the outcomes delivered to the root levels. The need base standard of common people Pakistan is upgraded in the shape of health, shelter and the expenditure of daily life, then widespread poverty, inequality and social unrest in the Pakistani nation may be decreased. Hopefully, communities of Pakistan then blended in a single blossom and respired as a one soul. Today the lack of tolerance is increased in a society either in the shape of religious and ethnic extremism, which has created a cultural intolerance and discriminative behaviour among the different linguistic people. This has resulted in a society where minority groups are marginalized, and freedom of expression is severely curtailed. Moreover, the country’s inability to harness its natural resources effectively has led to a significant brain drain, as talented individuals seek better opportunities abroad. For settlement of this prevailing situation in the country, the stakeholders must adopt a multi-faceted approach to address the both economic and social challenges, to set the prioritize for wide-ranging development, tolerance behaviour, and effective resource management system. A paradox that has plagued in the country for decades that is “rich in natural resources, yet poor in tolerance”. This type of paradox is not just a contradiction among the nation, but a serious crisis and their consequences has badly affected on our society, economy, and politics. First and foremost, solution of this paradox, we as a whole nation need to recognize and try to change the mindset of young generation that “tolerance is not a weakness, but it is a strength of brave man”. Motivational speaker must deliver a lecture in a society about the respect of values of cultural diversity, promotes inclusivity, and protects the rights of all citizens. Secondly, it is the duty of the leaders to reform our political system to make it more accountable, transparent, and responsive to accomplish the needs of all citizens. Moreover, they promote the culture of “meritocracy over patronage, and reward innovation over conformity” throughout the country. Finally, the government harness the natural resources of the country most effectively and to create jobs, stimulate economic growth, and reduce poverty and inequality for the nation.
