Parliamentary Secretary for Excise and Taxation Punjab Malik Shehryar Awan has paid tribute to the district and tehsil administrations and the teams of the Clean Punjab Program for the timely disposal of garbage and excellent arrangements for overall cleanliness on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha. He termed this effective and comprehensive cleanliness campaign as a practical implementation of the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.Malik Shehryar Awan said that cleanliness on Eid-ul-Adha is a major administrative challenge, but this time the discipline, dedication, and timely measures taken by the district and tehsil administrations and the Clean Punjab teams to ensure cleanliness are commendable.

The immediate disposal of waste, washing of streets, sprinkling of lime, and use of disinfectants, all these measures not only kept the environment clean but also ensured the protection of the health of citizens.He said that the Punjab Chief Minister’s dream is to make Punjab a clean, green and healthy province, and under this vision, special cleanliness campaigns are underway across the province, which are also receiving public acceptance. Malik Shehryar Awan, while praising the District Manager Raja Umar Musaed, Anas Farooq Manager Contractor and all the field workers, sanitary workers, field officers and local administration for their selfless services, said that these are the silent heroes who put their Eid joys behind them and prioritized public convenience. Such people are the nation’s capital and our real heroes.
