Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Khyber Pakhtunkhwa North Inayatullah Khan has said that complete injustice is being done to the people of Malakand Division. Dropping development projects worth Rs 42 billion is oppression and hostility towards the people of backward areas. These projects should be restored immediately. Corruption has destroyed institutions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and the government is completely suffering from mismanagement, nepotism and incompetence.

Addressing the gathering of members of Jamaat-e-Islami Lower Dir, Inayatullah Khan said that records of corruption have been broken during the tenure of the current government.
He gave details of serious financial scandals and said:
40 billion rupees Kohistan scandal,
7 billion rupees wheat scandal,
1.19 billion rupees medicine scandal,
30 billion rupees solar panel scandal,
11 crore rupees biscuit scandal
All these are examples of corruption which prove that public resources are being looted ruthlessly.
He further said that:
The discretionary fund was increased from 5 crores to 50 crores and the secret fund from 5 crores to 20 crores, which are clear signs of financial irregularities.
The Balambat Canal project has been lying dormant for years and
Timergara Medical College has become a victim of mega corruption.
Inayatullah Khan demanded that
“NAB, FIA, and other accountability institutions should take immediate notice, transparent investigations should be conducted into these scandals, and the involved elements should be brought to a terrible end. The dropped projects of Malakand division should be restored immediately so that the public’s trust is restored.”
He urged the workers to continue their struggle in a more organized, effective and determined manner.
“We will fight the cause of the people, knock on every door for their rights. The system of oppression, corruption and injustice will be challenged at all costs. Jamaat-e-Islami is the guarantor of real change.”
He said: Now is the time for us to raise awareness among the people, be a voice for their rights, and expose the corrupt rulers who have ruined the system of the province
