It is a good development that, former ruling party Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf is ready to negotiate with the PMLN, led government for the future politics and want to pave the a way for the release of ex-prime minster Imran khan but on the other hand blame game is also continues form both sides as well.
The PTI, stance still remains that- the siting government stole the mandate of IK’S party PTI that wins 2024 elections and the their government is the result of form 47 while according to record of form 45 of the election commission PTI is the leading party of the country, but it’s not that simple as opposition party is portraying it, because Pakistani politics and elections has its own history that always remain in blameworthiness.
In the political history of Pakistan the elections of 70s were fair but not accepted by one party at that time and as result the country had divided into two parts that has its own history.
Now in 2024 the situation is the same, but there is also an opportunity to resolves the political problems throw negotiations within the parliament.
Therefor both the ruling and opposition parties should avoid such blame game-because this is the only way to move forward for the batter future of political stability in the contrary. So for that purpose the government benches will have to stop naming on opposition-as yesterday the deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has proposed a solution to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) , offering to return the 2018 electoral mandate in exchange for a period of governance until the 2024 elections.
Speaking in the Senate, Dar said, “If you return the 2018 mandate to us, we will take charge, govern, and then you can hold the 2024 elections as scheduled.” He further suggested that if there were any issues regarding the February 8 elections, the courts would be available to address them.
Dar went on to highlight the cooperation between the government and PTI when it came to key appointments.
While Khawaja Asif, has claimed that the partnership between former Prime Minister Imran Khan and retired General Faiz Hameed, which played a central role in bringing Imran Khan to power, continued beyond the events of May 9.
Speaking to the press in Parliament House, khuwaja Asif stated that the collaboration between Khan and Faiz Hameed was key to the PTI leader’s political rise, a Newspaper reported.
“General Faiz was the central figure in bringing Imran Khan to power. Their partnership began before the 2018 elections and continued after May 9. Anyone who denies this we have evidence to support it,” Asif said.
He also highlighted the ways in which the retired General Faiz allegedly aided Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during the 2018 general elections.
“RTS (Result Transmission System) was manipulated, opposition leaders were imprisoned, and false cases were filed. This helped PTI’s rise to power,” Asif said.
According to the above statements both sides are very careless about the political and democratic prospect of the country, that is why they are blaming each other’s for the current situation and anarchy or instability from almost two years.
Now, when the leadership of PTI is showing flexibility for the first time so it’s a good opportunity for the ruling party to take advantage of that to solve its issues with the opposition on the table.
If the PTI, could prove himself a serious counterpart then the political constancy is possible but if it continues its U-turns than in the future his face saving will be more difficult and even it will bring more problems for their top leader Imran Khan who is in imprisonment in ADYALA jail. So we can Hope that these currant negotiations between the two political parties will bring political and socioeconomic stability in the country.
