Islamabad: TECNO has launched the Camon 50 Pro in Pakistan, introducing new camera-focused features including AI 60X Super Zoom, FlashSnap technology and underwater photography capabilities, as the company targets young smartphone users.
According to a press release issued on April 5, the device is designed to strengthen TECNO’s position in mobile photography and premium design, with a focus on capturing fast-moving and low-light scenes.
The Camon 50 Pro features SuperZoom FlashSnap, which allows users to capture sharp images of moving subjects, even at up to 3X zoom. AI-powered tools such as AI Auto Zoom and Best Moment 2.0 are integrated to improve real-time photography.
Camera and display features
The smartphone is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYT-700C Ultra Night Camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), aimed at enhancing low-light photography. It also includes telephoto and ultra-wide lenses for added versatility.
The AI 60X Super Zoom enables long-distance photography, while an Aqua Mode supports underwater shooting. The device carries IP68 and IP69K ratings, indicating protection against water and dust.
It comes with a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals.
Performance and battery
The Camon 50 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate processor and is backed by a 6500mAh battery with 45W fast charging support.
Price and availability
The smartphone is available across Pakistan at a price of Rs85,999. It is approved by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) and supports all major mobile networks.
