DUBAI: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) will spearhead Pakistan’s largest participation to date at Gulfood 2026, marking a major push to expand the country’s agro and food exports in global markets.

The five-day exhibition, scheduled from January 26 to 30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and Dubai Expo City, will feature 67 Pakistani companies facilitated by TDAP across four dedicated pavilions covering rice, pulses and grains, world food, beverages, and meat and poultry. In addition, several Pakistani firms will take part independently, further widening the country’s footprint at one of the world’s largest food and beverage trade events, which draws exhibitors and buyers from more than 130 countries.

Pakistani exhibitors are set to present a broad range of agro-based and value-added products, including Basmati rice, cereals, meat, honey, pink salt, horticultural produce, spices, dairy items, and processed and frozen foods. TDAP said the display is aimed at highlighting both product quality and the country’s growing capacity in value addition for international markets.

Beyond the exhibition floor, Pakistan will host a series of promotional and business-focused activities. These include the inauguration of the Pakistan Pavilion, media engagements, and the Pakistan Biryani Festival, designed to showcase the quality and aroma of Pakistani rice to international visitors. Live culinary masterclasses under the “Taste of the World – Gulfood 2026 (Pakistan)” banner will also highlight Pakistani ingredients for the global hospitality and food service sector.

TDAP will also participate in a panel discussion on future food systems, where officials are expected to outline Pakistan’s agricultural strengths, the use of technology in agri-food systems, and sustainability challenges. To support trade linkages, TDAP and the Trade Section of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai will jointly host a Pakistan-UAE business conference and a B2B networking dinner to connect exporters with international buyers and distributors.

Officials said the expanded presence at Gulfood 2026 reflects Pakistan’s strategy to position itself as a reliable supplier of premium food products and to strengthen export opportunities in key international markets.
