TCL launches SaveIN Series air conditioners aimed at reducing electricity consumption in Pakistan

LAHORE — Consumer electronics company TCL has launched the TCL SaveIN Series air conditioner in Pakistan, introducing a new range of energy-efficient cooling units designed to help households manage rising electricity costs during the summer season.

The company announced the product launch in Lahore on March 5, saying the new series targets consumers facing increasing power tariffs and higher seasonal energy bills. The models are designed to deliver cooling performance while reducing electricity consumption in homes and small businesses.

According to TCL, the SaveIN Series uses the company’s T-AI Energy Saving chip, which automatically adjusts cooling output based on room temperature. The system regulates compressor performance to reduce unnecessary power use while maintaining consistent cooling levels.

The company says the technology can reduce electricity consumption by up to 37 percent compared with conventional inverter air conditioners.

Designed for Pakistan’s climate conditions

The SaveIN Series has been engineered to operate in high-temperature environments typical across Pakistan during peak summer months.

TCL says the units can function in ambient temperatures of up to 62°C and are designed to handle voltage fluctuations, a common challenge in many parts of the country. Temperatures in several regions of Pakistan regularly exceed 45°C during summer.

The series also includes a three-speed GEN Mode that allows users to manually control energy usage, particularly during peak billing hours or when running on backup power sources.

Additional smart features

The air conditioners feature Coanda Airflow technology, which distributes air evenly throughout the room to reduce direct airflow and maintain consistent indoor cooling.

An advanced variant in the lineup, called SaveIN Extreme, includes built-in Wi-Fi connectivity. Through a mobile application, users can adjust temperature settings, monitor energy consumption and control the unit remotely.

Availability and pricing

The TCL SaveIN Series is available in three capacity options: 1 ton, 1.5 ton and 2 ton. The models come in both Heat & Cool and Cool Only configurations.

According to the company, prices start from Rs118,400. Each unit includes a 10-year compressor warranty and a five-year warranty on parts.

The new air conditioners are available through TCL’s authorized dealers and flagship stores across Pakistan.
