Islamabad: Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, National Heritage and Culture Attaullah Tara on Saturday said that University of London plays an important role in Pakistan’s education system. On the graduates of the University of London here, the minister noted that the university has played an important role in raising the level of legal education in Pakistan. He said that meeting the graduates of the University of London was a source of joy for him, since it was at this university that he began his career. The minister praised the University of London for its invaluable partnership with Pakistan and noted that the university’s graduates are today making significant contributions in important sectors of the country. They have a key role in the development of Pakistan and in the field of law. The minister said that the University of London’s alumni network had been developing steadily in recent decades and expressed hope that it would continue to develop in the future. He said that father of nation Quaid-E-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and great thinker and philosopher poet Allama Muhammad iqbal were educated in great educational institution at Lincoln’s Inn in England. Both great personalities played an important role in the Pakistani establishment and shaped its future with their legal knowledge and political vision, he said. The Federal Minister for Information paid tribute to Dr. Khadija, CEO, Roots School System, for her outstanding educational services. He said that it is encouraging to see leaders performing because they have had to face difficulties in our society since the beginning of their lives. “It is a good sign that we are seeing an increase in the number of graduates from the University of London,” he said. The minister praised the education system of the University of London, which provided its students with the best study experience for success in the professional field. Tara paid tribute to all the great professors and teachers at the University of London.
