Abbottabad: Government Home Economics College Abbottabad hosted a spectacular Art & Decoration Exhibition, proving that with determination, guidance, and passion, even limited resources can achieve great heights.
Despite the college’s modest infrastructure and resources, the students presented extraordinary creative works in fields such as art, designing, foods, textiles, waste management, and recycling. These creations perfectly reflected the institution’s mission — “Education, Skill, and Self-Reliance.”
Regional Director Fazal-ul-Karim, Additional Registrar Dr. Akhtar Iqbal, and Deputy Director Yasir Arshad paid a special visit to the exhibition. They appreciated the students’ creativity and remarked:
“An institution that fosters such brilliance and skill in a limited space truly deserves recognition and praise.”
The exhibition featured unique work including pine cone art, newspaper creativity, charcoal portraits, truck art, mirror work, kitchen tray designs, and clothing recycling. These projects not only introduced new dimensions to creativity but also instilled confidence in the students and prepared them for practical life.
Addressing the audience, Principal Professor Tayyaba Siddiqui said:
“This success is the result of our teachers’ dedication and our students’ hard work. We firmly believe that limited resources are never a barrier when the goal is clear.”
The college’s small building turned into a canvas of big dreams, where every wall, every corner, and every piece of art conveyed a message of innovation and hope.
This exhibition at Government Home Economics College Abbottabad not only promoted educational activities but also carried a powerful message:
“Skill knows no bounds — it only needs opportunity, effort, and the right guidance!”
