Swat Authorities Launch Crackdown on Drug-Related Properties Following High-Level Meeting

SWAT: A high level meeting was held at the District Public Prosecution Office at Gulkada here on Monday in Swat district and the crackdown has been decided on properties under the guise of drug and illegal business in the area.
In addition to District Public Prosecutor Saeed Naeem and District Police Officer Badshah Hazrat Khan, police officials, public prosecutors, lawyers and representatives of other relevant departments participated in the meeting.
According to DPP Saeed Naeem it was decided in the meeting that people have made property and assets by doing drug selling business while playing with human lives, strict action will be taken against them by fulfilling the legal requirements.
In this regard, various proposals were considered in the meeting and decisions were taken.
He said that It was also decided that lists of drug and other illegal businessmen who play with human lives will be compiled and after full investigation and inquiry they will be arrested and no concessions will be made in this regard.
Earlier, a meeting of police investigation wing and public prosecutors was also held in the district public prosecutor’s office.
In which detailed consideration was given regarding the cases under investigation.
District Public Prosecutor Saeed Naeem said that the prosecution will fully cooperate and guide the investigation department of the police to make the investigation more effective and deliver speedy justice.
