SUJAWAL: A disturbing incident of animal cruelty was reported in Sujawal district when a landlord allegedly severed the leg of a cow after it trampled his tomato crop.

According to local accounts, Arabi Boriho, a resident of village Ghulam Hussain Bohrio in Taluka Jati, attacked the animal with an axe after it entered his field, which was ready for harvest. The cow was left bleeding and in severe pain.

The owner of the cow, Ghulam Hussain Bohrio, later addressed a press conference at the Jati Press Club, describing the ordeal and the fear it created among villagers. He was joined by other residents who urged the district police to take immediate notice of the incident and ensure accountability.

Community members expressed concern that such acts of violence not only cause suffering to animals but also spread fear in rural areas. They called on authorities, including the SSP Sujawal, to investigate the matter and prevent similar incidents in the future.
