(IESCO) Sub-Divisional Officer Rana Asif Mahmood has said that WAPDA teams are working day and night to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity to the people within the limits of Grade Station and are trying to install the affected transformers and other equipment even during the intense heat season, he said this while talking to renowned journalist Burhan Ghani Raja in his office. SDO WAPDA said that due to the breakdown of transformers, we face difficulties due to time taken for repair and shortage of staff, but we try to provide electricity to the people continuously during the hot season. In response to a question, SDO Nasir Mahmood said that the affected transformer of Mohalla Dheri of Dandoot town will be installed today to ensure restoration of electricity, while to reduce the load on it, another 50KV transformer will be installed in Mohalla Bazaar this week. He said that considering the public facilities, WAPDA staff is trying day and night to repair the lines and transformers.
