KARACHI: The South Africa Women’s Under-19 cricket team will tour Pakistan for the first time in July, marking an important development in youth women’s cricket between the two countries.
According to details, a five-match T20 series between Pakistan and South Africa Women’s Under-19 teams will be played from July 14 to July 24 at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
Training schedule and arrival
The South African squad is scheduled to arrive in Karachi on July 10. Both teams will take part in training sessions at the National Bank Stadium from July 11 to July 13 ahead of the series.
Match schedule confirmed
The five-match series will follow this schedule:
- 1st T20: July 14
- 2nd T20: July 17
- 3rd T20: July 19
- 4th T20: July 22
- 5th T20: July 24
Preparation for major tournaments
Officials said the series will serve as important preparation for upcoming events, including the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup and the ICC Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup.
The Pakistan Cricket Board’s women’s department has recently organized training camps in Karachi for Under-19 players as part of its development programme.
