Upon arrival, Afridi formally assumed charge of his office. Senior officials introduced the secretariat staff and provided a detailed briefing on administrative and operational matters. These included current governance priorities, ongoing development projects, and areas requiring urgent attention.

While addressing the staff, Afridi emphasized that the Chief Minister’s Secretariat is more than an administrative body.
