Mirpur(Dudial)– A state-of-the-art Software Technology Park (STP) has been inaugurated in Dudial, a tehsil of Mirpur district, as part of the Special Communications Organization’s (SCO) Vision 2025. The initiative aims to transform Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) into IT-driven regions. The park was inaugurated by Major General Umar Ahmed Shah (Hilal-e-Imtiaz Military), Director General of SCO.
This latest addition marks a significant milestone in the region’s technological development. Additionally, more than 20 freelancing hubs are already functional in various parts of the region.
A Global IT Hub in the Heart of Dudial
The Software Technology Park in Dudial has been designed to provide a world-class IT environment that fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and employment opportunities for local youth.
