The country has witnessed a record decrease in the prices of batteries and solar panels due to a decline in their demand.
According to market sources, the prices of solar panels have dropped significantly, accompanied by a notable reduction in the prices of solar batteries.
The price of a lithium solar battery has fallen by up to 20%, with a battery previously priced at 450,000 PKR now available for 380,000 PKR. Similarly, batteries that were being sold for 300,000–400,000 PKR are now priced between 200,000–250,000 PKR.
Sources indicate that new companies have entered the lithium battery industry, offering competitive deals.
Traders have reported that the buying and selling of solar products, including panels and batteries, has been severely impacted, leading to a historic decline in their prices.
