Pakistani actress and social activist Nadia Jamil has criticised a viral video featuring religious scholar Mufti Tariq Masood in which he appears to encourage men to have four marriages, describing the remarks as dangerous.

Nadia Jamil shared a video posted by digital creator Areej Jamil on her Instagram Story and expressed strong reservations about the remarks.
She said such comments were particularly concerning in a society where women face violence, sexual abuse and killings. Jamil argued that statements of this nature could contribute to hostility towards women.
