The accused, Sohail son of Maqsood-ur-Rehman, resident of Chahan Hal Bandi Attai Khan, who killed the young man Kashif Tanoli in the city’s busiest place, Amir Muawiya Chowk, has been arrested. According to the details, yesterday, SHO Ali Khan of Havelian police station arrested the accused within 24 hours. The accused had injured the young man Kashif Tanoli by shooting him with a pistol in a crowded market four days ago.
He died yesterday after being in a life-and-death struggle in Abbottabad Complex for two days. A case under section 324 was registered against the accused before his death. Yesterday, after the death of the injured person, the police registered section 302 and started a raid to arrest the accused. As a result, SHO Havelian Ali Khan arrested the accused along with a team during the raid. More revelations are expected to come out from the accused during the investigation.
