Bollywood star Shahid Kapoor has announced that he does not want his children to join the film industry.
While many star children in Bollywood follow in their parents’ footsteps, Shahid Kapoor has no such plans for his kids. In a podcast interview, Kapoor stated that he does not want his children to enter Bollywood.
He mentioned that there are many things he would not want his children to learn from him. He wants them to be naturally confident, which, according to him, both of them already are, as he himself was not as confident naturally. He added, “I wouldn’t want them to do my job. Acting is very complicated, there are many ups and downs, it’s tough. If they want to, that’s their choice, but I would prefer they choose something easier.”
Talking about raising his children, Shahid Kapoor mentioned that he would always encourage them to do the right thing.
It’s worth noting that Shahid Kapoor married Mira Rajput in 2015, and the couple has two children, Misha and Zain.
