Serving the deserving and needy is also an act of worship. It is for this very spirit that the Social Welfare Council, Talagang, has been on the path of service for a long time. The quarterly meeting of the Social Welfare Council Tala Gang was held under the chairmanship of Asim Rashid Malik and Malik Irfan Mahmood at Nigahban Tala Gang. 32 members attended the meeting.President Social Welfare Council Tala Gang Malik Asim Rashid presented the performance report of two years. Moreover, on the completion of two years, the members were informed about all the welfare projects and activities through a presentation on the projector.Consultations were held on the future goals and welfare projects of the Social Welfare Council, Talagang.
The members were informed that the Social Welfare Council Talagang is continuing its welfare activities in six fields, which include educational scholarships for deserving and needy children, monthly ration drive for 24 deserving and needy families, assistance in the treatment of poor and deserving sick people and provision of equipment, provision of injections on a monthly basis for 30 dialysis patients at City Hospital Talagang, as well as programs to support orphans.Members of the Alam Khan Memorial Trust were also welcomed on this occasion, in which Chairman Trust Malik Irfan Mahmood Sahib and Vice President Alam Khan Memorial Trust Malik Arshad Mahmood and his son and nephew Muhammad Adnan were also present. Malik Irfan Mahmood is an executive member of the Social Welfare Council Tala Gang who played a key role in welfare projects,In particular, in addition to providing monthly rations and injections, he personally provided financial assistance in the construction of the high school mosque.Malik Asim Rashid praised Irfan Mahmood for his positive thinking and compassion for the people. You are also the spirit of the guardian of Tala Gang, under whose full patronage all facilities are available to orphaned and deserving children and every aspect, including their education and training, is being managed in a better way.The meeting was attended by President Malik Asim Rashid, Vice President Malik Amir Nawaz, Finance Secretary Zohaib Munir, Additional General Secretary Malik Thaoban, Assistant Waqas Shah, Press Secretary Sheikh Bilal Zafar, Executive members Haji Khalid Mahmood, Malik Asad Raza, Munib Ahmed Malik, Khalid Qadir Awan,Muhammad Irfan Harjal, Saqib Nazir, Mudassar Riaz, Muhammad Waseem, Muhammad Naeem, Mubashir Riaz, Faisal Razzaq, Faisal Nadeem, Haji Arshad Mahmood, Waqar Ahmed, Muhammad Waseem, Tanveerul Hassan, Malik Jawad Abbas, Malik Muhammad Waheed, Hafiz Muhammad Danish, Hamid Ali Awan and Malik Nadeem Akhtar, General Secretary of the Patients Welfare Association, specially participated.Malik Aamir Nawaz, Malik Nadeem Akhtar and Haji Khalid Mahmood also expressed their views at the meeting and termed all these welfare activities as a good omen for distributing convenience among the people.
At the end of the meeting, a dinner was organized by the President of the Social Welfare Council, Tala Gang, Malik Asim Rashid, and at the end of the meeting, a special prayer was offered for the forgiveness of all the deceased and especially for the health of Executive Member Rana Murtaza Haider. Furthermore, Malik Asim Rashid thanked all the members for participating in the meeting.
