Peshawar (Junaid Toru): HBK Complex Peshawar welcomed a delegation of senior civil officers from across Pakistan as part of the 38th Senior Management Course (SMC) organized by the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA), Islamabad.
The delegation consisted of 18 participant officers from BPS-19, along with directing staff and protocol officers. Mr. Amir Khan, Director of HBK Group of Companies, received the delegation at the complex, joined by his management team.
During the briefing, CEO Mr. Imdad Khan and Director Amir Khan highlighted the role of HBK Blanket Industries in strengthening Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s industrial base. They explained the company’s production processes, management strategies, and operational systems. The discussion also touched on hurdles faced by local industries, particularly challenges related to export tariffs. They proposed stronger coordination between the business community and government regulatory authorities to resolve such issues.
The visiting officers praised HBK Complex Peshawar for its significant contribution to industrial growth and job creation in the region. They described the exchange of ideas as both insightful and valuable.
This visit formed part of the Inland Study Tour under the SMC program. The course aims to enhance the professional capacity of senior civil officers by exposing them to real-world decision-making processes and operational frameworks of both public and private sector organizations.
