Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme and Senator Rubina Khalid has issued a message on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat, describing it as a night of mercy, forgiveness, and divine blessings.

In her message, Senator Rubina Khalid said Shab-e-Barat provides an important opportunity for collective repentance, self-reflection, and spiritual renewal. She urged the nation to turn towards prayer and worship, seeking forgiveness and guidance from Allah Almighty.

She said special prayers should be offered for the peace, stability, and prosperity of Pakistan, adding that Shab-e-Barat teaches lessons of patience, tolerance, and mutual compassion. She emphasized that these values are essential for strengthening social harmony and national unity.

The BISP chairperson also called on people to remember the poor, needy, and deserving segments of society on this blessed night, encouraging acts of charity and kindness. She said caring for vulnerable communities is a core part of Islamic teachings and social responsibility.

Senator Rubina Khalid expressed the hope that Allah Almighty, by the blessings of Shab-e-Barat, would grant Pakistan peace, stability, and protection, and enable the nation to move forward with unity and resolve.
