Advisor to the Chief Minister on Health, Ihtesham Ali, announced the successful reactivation of the Sehat Card program under the leadership of Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur. The program, which had been rendered inactive during the caretaker government, was prioritized and reinstated immediately upon the assumption of office by the current administration.
Highlighting the program’s achievements over the past eight months, Advisor Ihtesham Ali shared that a total of PKR 24 billion has been spent, providing free healthcare to 6,89,523 residents across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He added that 322,701 men and 366,821 women received free medical treatment under sehat card. “mong these, 1,97,305 individuals availed treatment at private hospitals, while 4,93,216 individuals were treated in public hospitals” he said.
Ihtesham Ali credited Chief Minister Gandapur’s commitment to public health for the program’s revival and success, stating that the Sehat Card is a lifeline for countless families in the province. He urged citizens to make full use of this facility to ensure a healthier future for themselves and their families.
